It was built for an aluminium joinery manufacturer, who is passionate about adopting and demonstrating the latest triple glazing technology. This technology is aimed at helping move the performance of New Zealand construction forward. As such, considerable attention has been paid to the thermal performance of the home build. This ensures occupant comfort, and minimised energy usage, as part of a broader sustainability strategy. This sustainability strategy means no sacrificing of architectural quality, or enjoyment of the space. This cedar-clad Wanaka architectural build sits proudly atop the rise. Beautifully positioned north for maximum sun, its glass frontage is as practical as it is attractive. Offering a captivating outlook over Lake Wanaka and surrounding mountains, the 264sqm two-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat – complete with internal courtyard – is filled with natural light and luxury features.
